8 things Delhites miss in Bangalore!!

The situation is kind of “Same same but different” with one city weighing more than the other in some aspect. The term “Versus” looks misplaced here because we would focus more on things which we truly MISS in Bangalore.  Let’s get an insight into what a Delhite feels while staying in Bangalore.

     Hand pulled Ricksha
It is usually loathed by many for its slow speed, discomfort in manual pulling and other constraints. However we miss it for the ease it provides in commuting small distances instead of paying double fare to the rowdy auto drivers. MIND YOU it’s only meant for small distance which wouldn’t cause much trouble to the one pulling the Rickshaw!

        Suji ke gol gappe

This is one delicacy we truly yearn for! You see so many stalls here serving “Gol- Gappas” but no Suji made gol gappas leaves a tingling feeling in your stomach!

3     Metro connectivity
Delhi Metro is famous nation-wide for its good connectivity across the city. Yes we miss it. Boarding a BMTC from Electronic City to the Airport feels like travelling to a different city all together. Metro is undoubtedly a fast and reliable option.

     Variety of  Paranthas
If “Paranthe wali Galli” struck you after reading this, we know where you hail from. Usually topped with pure makkhan and served with curd. Even the mental picture of it will make your mouth water!

5   Holi
When the entire north India wallows in playing Holi, Bangaloreans usually go about their normal life routine. To make it even worse – picture updates on Facebook.

6   Fukrey (Desi dudes)
Watching  cool and rich brats honking their cars and playing “Honey Singh’s” songs on loud is a  routine sight. Yes they are downright amusing but the best way to start your day with!

7   Haryanvi accent of Delhi Police
You feel at home when you hear “Ghani garmi laag ri se chore” when you are caught running a signal. It’s not only funny to hear those lines but also instills a sense of fear.

        Punjabi songs at wedding
No wedding is complete without dancing to the tune of a Punjabi song. Keep calm and do the Bhangra !!! Bangalore is comparatively quieter with most wedding ceremonies happening during day time.

Once you stay in Delhi , you can’t live anywhere else. Bangalore has its own perks but “Yeh Dil Maange More !!! "
